Teenmaar Sankranti
TCA celebrates Teenmaar Sankranti in the month of January. This event is organised in a school auditorium. We have always had a huge gathering for this event. We conduct multi-cultural activities focussing on Telangana culture more. We have a variety of participants from different age groups. We also promote local business by providing stalls to display and sell their items. A delicious Telangana food with reasonable price is served during this event. TCA Dhoom Dham
We organize Dhoom Dham to celebrate Telangana Formation day in the month of June. This event is organised in a school auditorium. We have always had a huge gathering for this event. We conduct more of Telangana cultural programs to depict our culture and practices for the younger generations. We also promote performances from the other cultures during this event. We promote local business by providing stalls to display and sell their items. A delicious Telangana food with reasonable price is served during this event. Bathukamma
TCA celebrates bathukamma festival every year around the months of September and October whenever it falls. On this festival of flowers, a large group of families gather with their bathukammas. We celebrate this festival by singing and dancing to bathukamma songs, doing kolatam in big circles around the bathukammas. TCA organizes prizes based on the size and flowers used. Delicious Telangana food is served during this event. Please participate in this event to make it a grand success.
TCA Vanabhojanalu
TCA organizes Vanabhojanalu during summer. A lot of families gather at this event. We conduct games and cultural activities for all age groups. We organize potluck during this event. So far we have been getting a large crowd attending this event. Please participate in this event to make it a grand success.
TCA Blood Donation
We organize blood donation camps twice a year in partnership with Canadian Blood Services. We would like to request everyone to join this campaign in donating blood to save a life. Please contact Info@telangana.ca for your participation.
TCA Food Donation
We organize food donation once a year during bathukamma festival thru Christmas. We collect non-perishable canned food which caters to all ethnic groups. We donate the collected food to community food banks such as Mississauga food bank, Thrift stores, Knights table, please contact Info@telangana.ca for your donation
Vastradhanam
We organize Vastradhanam once a year during bathukamma festival thru Christmas. We collect clothes which caters to all ethnic groups. We donate the collected clothes to community clothes banks. please contact Info@telangana.ca for your donation
Dussehra for life members
TCA celebrates Dussehra for Life Members. This event is Organised in a Banquet hall. We have always had a huge gathering for this event. We conduct multi-cultural activities focussing on Telangana culture more.
